Happy New Year loves! Being that I am a skincare junkie, it was only right that our first blog post focuses on skincare! After a year full of trial and error, here are three products I won’t be putting down anytime soon!

Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 1970

Yep thats right! You’ve probably heard of it as it has a cult following on the East coast!  As one who has always taken good care of my skin, I noticed I was congested with small bumps everywhere. My face looked oily yet there were dry patches too. And here I had been spending countless dollars on products that just weren’t working for me. Needless to say, I was completely discouraged! That was until I tried Biologique Recherche Lotion P50. After a month of using this exfoliant my skin finally started to clear up. Bumps be gone! My pores were barely noticeable for the 1st time ever (mind you I’ve been using glam glow super mud for years to try and clear my black heads). Only if I had known about this brand sooner, I would have stopped using these ineffective and pricey products a long time ago. Biologique Recherche is a fragrance free brand,  so it doesn’t exactly smell great but the results far outweigh the not so pleasant smell. This product simple handedly changed my skin and I will most definitely be keeping them in my daily skincare regimen in 2019!

What does it do?: P50 170 is a chemical exfoliant. It hydrates and balances the PH of your skin.

How to use it: Use after cleansing. Take a cotton round and apply a few drops of lotion P50. Starting from your neck to your forehead in an upward motion (always keep gravity in mind).

Biologique Recherche Complexe Iribiol

Do you have oily, acne-prone skin? Yeah, me too! This product works wonders. I love using it as a spot treatment for breakouts, around the T-zone for oil control, and to shrink my pores. Best breakout preventer ever! Make sure to only apply this in the T-zone to avoid drying out the rest of your face. 

What does it do?: Complexe Iribiol helps instantly improve larger pores. Helps heal post acne scarring and breakouts. Recommended for acne prone, combination, or oily skin types.

How to use it?: Complexe Iribiol should be used after the toning step in your skincare. No need for a cotton round. Apply a few drops on finger tips and lightly massage into the T-zone area.

Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask

Glow baby glow! This overnight vitalizing mask is my saving grace in the winter, especially when I have an event or date the next day. It smells like ginger and I totally love it! My favorite trick when using this product is applying a small amount to my cheek bones before applying my face makeup for a “glow from within” look. No matter which way you use it you can guarantee a radiant glowy complexion!

What does it do?: adds moisture without leaving residue. Skin is left glowing and refreshed. 

How to use it?: This is the last step in your nighttime skin routine. Apply a pea size amount and gently massage into skin. Applying the most product on the high points of the face. Check bones, forehead, chin. Rinse with cool water when you awake.

Remember these are just my opinions on products that have worked for my skin. At the end of the day everyone is different so what may work for me may not for you. Hope you love these 3 products enough to incorporate them into your skincare regime for 2019!
